"Christmas" the Bassett/Spaniel Puppy

We are so blessed to have this sweet new addition to our family. "Christmas" was one of several pups in a litter that would have been euthanized since they were not weaned and they didn't have the staff to bottle-feed them (see the whole story on www.thedogliberator.blogspot.com)

We went to see the pups, thinking we would get a boy named Jack Frost(since we have so many girls in this family). However, Christmas walked right up to us, plopped down and rolled over right at our feet. And that was it!!

She is so good with the kids and loves attention. But she also loves to be in her crate and she's doing great at her potty training.

Thank you Lord for this "Christmas" blessing.

1st Week of Homeschool

Well, our first week of Homeschool was quite fun. We had our first field trip to the MI airport for aviation day.

Summer 2009

We had a great summer! We had tons of friends and family here to visit. And then Ken's parents took Kylee and Emmy to North Carolina for a couple of weeks. Now we are back getting into our schedule and preparing to start Homeschooling next week. Here are some misc pics from the summer.
